Sot's Paradise
1707
Not on view
George Bickham the Elder showed off his skills as a writing master and calligrapher in the various scraps of paper that seemingly make up this medley print. At the center of the display is the face of Philippe de Champaigne as it appears in Gérard Edelinck's engraving from thirty-one years earlier, in reverse.
