Not on view
In this self-published book, František Kupka recounts his rejection of figurative forms in favor of the abstract. His turn toward abstraction began in 1911, and he saw this book as a record of his artistic shift over fifteen years. In the book, Kupka elaborates on his theories about subjectivity, with each of the four chapters accompanied by a manifesto on the responsibilities of artists.
