L'Artisan Moderne (The Modern Artisan)
Not on view
L'Artisan Moderne was a line of limited-edition decorative objects, jewelry, and home furnishings marketed by André Marty. In Toulouse-Lautrec's suggestive poster an all-too-eager craftsman, a medalist friend named Henri Nocq, resembles a doctor making a house call as he is shown into the bedroom of an attractive parisienne, tools in hand.
