Not on view
Since coming to the United States in 1967, Yoshiko Wada has been a leading figure in the Bay Area fiber movement, most notable for introducing shibori dyeing but also as an advocate for the research and preservation of traditional textile technique worldwide. In this work from 1975, Wada gently satirizes the opening of Asia to the Western market.
