About the speakers

Martin Chapman is curator in charge of European decorative arts and sculpture at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. He has organized numerous exhibitions at the Legion of Honor, including Marie-Antoinette and the Petit Trianon at Versailles (2007 – 2008), Houghton Hall: Portrait of an English Country House (2014 – 2015), and East Meets West: Jewels of the Maharajas from The Al Thani Collection (2018 – 2019). 

Thomas Wu is former assistant curator of European decorative arts and sculpture at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. He holds a master’s in history of art from the Courtauld Institute of Art.
