A. Gary Bukovnik Watercolor Package
Andra Norris Gallery and artist Gary Bukovnik are delighted to donate Amaryllis: Symphony, an original 54- by 40-inch watercolor that Bukovnik painted in 2002. The painting was inspired by an ongoing 35-year partnership between Bukovnik and the San Francisco Symphony, and it depicts an oversize vase of amaryllis. For over a decade, this painting hung at the symphony, but it is now in the artist’s personal collection and remains one of his favorites. One reason is the artist’s fondness for red, but the painting’s composition and the artist’s memory of the sheer joy he derived from painting is another.
