Join Ariana Martinez-Cruz for a hand sewing ornaments workshop inside our Bowles Porcelain Gallery. This guided experience will offer visitors of all skill levels an opportunity to create a unique piece inspired by the Legion of Honor. The workshops are limited to 25 people, first come, first served. All materials will be provided. 

About the artist

Ariana Martinez-Cruz is an artist working with fiber, textile, and embroidery. She is the creator of Sew Frisco, a wearable thread art brand inspired by memories and life growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her textile and visual artwork has been featured at the Brava Theater Center, Carnaval San Francisco, Latino Cultural Center (Dallas, Texas), as well as artisan markets throughout San Francisco.

Free program. Limited capacity. Ages teens to adults. Please arrive by 9:30 am for check in.
