Join us for a special Cake Picnic at the Legion of Honor to celebrate Wayne Thiebaud: Art Comes from Art! Inspired by Thiebaud’s iconic cake paintings, this community event invites the San Francisco Bay Area to bring a cake and picnic on the museum’s lawn, creating a living tribute to his love of art and joyful color. We are excited to follow his style and make our cake buffet dreams a reality. Let's eat cake!

Cake Picnic is a gathering for the love of cake and brings communities and friends together. To be surrounded by as many cakes as there are humans is definitely something special, right? It is a moment in time where we can all come together for something truly sweet.
