Create your own limited edition Legion of Honor 100 silkscreen print using ARTivate’s mobile art bike! Drop in on this activity to get a poster designed by ARTivate or FAMSF Teaching Artists inspired by the Legion of Honor building and collections. This is the kickoff event with ARTivate. Look for more collaborations throughout the centennial year.

The Centennial Weekend Celebration, November 9–11, is part of our year-long series of free public programs and special events coinciding with the Legion of Honor 100, commemorating the history of the museum and looking forward to its next century.

About ARTivate

ARTvate is a program run by artists and educators Amy Berk and Chris Treggiari, which works to bring activism and art to youth in the Bay Area while bridging communities through public art projects. ARTivate takes inspiration from art, events, and exhibitions in the Bay Area and beyond to create semester-long classes that invite youth to collaborate in the research and creation of interactive public art projects with a community partner.
