Contemporary Support Council Members, exhibition sponsors, and special guests are invited to join us in celebrating the opening of Lee Mingwei: Rituals of Care, with the artists, Director and CEO Thomas P. Campbell, and Curator in Charge of Contemporary Art Claudia Schmuckli.

About the exhibition

Inspired by personal experiences and world events, artist Lee Mingwei (b. 1964) creates interactive installations and performances. Asking how art can serve as a conduit for social connection and emotional healing in a social environment defined by so much trauma and loss, Lee Mingwei: Rituals of Care features seven projects created between 1995 and 2024 that place the visitor at the center of radical acts of generosity and care.
