What is Drag Story Hour?
Drag Story Hour is just what it sounds like! Storytellers using the art of drag to read books to children in libraries, schools, and bookstores. Drag Story Hour sparks imagination and celebrates the gender fluidity of childhood, offering kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. In spaces like this, kids can see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where everyone is free to be their authentic selves.
