Leadership Circle, Patrons Circle, and exhibition sponsors are invited to the opening celebration of Sargent and Spain.
Donors will preview the exhibition before it opens to the public, and partake in a cocktail reception with light bites and entertainment from 7 to 9 pm.
Organized by the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, Sargent and Spain explores the influence of Spanish culture on John Singer Sargent’s dynamic visual practice. The exhibition presents an array of powerful oils and watercolors depicting Spain’s rich traditions, its people, and its magnificent urban and rural landscapes.
