About the speaker

Timothy Anglin Burgard is the distinguished senior curator and Ednah Root Curator in Charge of American Art for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. He is the curator of 34 exhibitions, the installation curator for 19 traveling exhibitions, and the author or co-author of 23 books and nine articles. As a curator, he has pursued his strong interest in contextual, interdisciplinary, and multicultural studies that have transformed traditional categorizations of American art and culture.

Free program. Theater doors will open 30 minutes before the start of the program. Seating is limited and unassigned, first come, first served. Admission to the theater program does not include admission to the special exhibition or other galleries in the museum.
