You’re invited to a pre-release celebration for the upcoming SFJAZZ Collective album! Join us for an afternoon of music, art, and conversation in a crossover like no other. Members of the SFJAZZ Collective will perform new pieces inspired by artworks from the 2022 Svane Family Foundation gift of 42 works by more than 30 local artists. The program will be followed by a reception in the Kimball Education Gallery.

About SFJAZZ Collective

Founded by SFJAZZ in 2004, the SFJAZZ Collective is an all-star ensemble and composer’s workshop that represents what’s happening now in jazz. SFJAZZ Collective celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2024.

Free program. Theater doors will open 30 minutes before the start of the program. Seating is limited and unassigned, first come, first served. Admission to the theater program does not include admission to the special exhibition or other galleries in the museum.
