About the curator

Emily A. Beeny is Chief Curator of the Legion of Honor and Barbara A. Wolfe Curator in Charge of European Paintings at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Before arriving in San Francisco, she served as Associate Curator of Drawings at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles and held curatorial appointments at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Norton Simon Museum. She is currently developing two original exhibitions: one devoted to the French Baroque artist Simon Vouet and the other to the friendship between Édouard Manet and Berthe Morisot.

The program ticket does not include exhibition admission. Entry to the permanent collection galleries and the special exhibition Mary Cassatt at Work is free. Exhibition tickets are limited, first come, first served.
