The Green Cap
1985
The Green Cap was a collaborative project between Katz, Crown Point Press and printmaker Tadashi Toda, who was working from Kyoto, Japan. Toda, working with a professional block carver, Rezo Monjyu, painstakingly translated the drawing from Katz into a color woodcut proof (see inv. 1992.167.689-686-685-682) and awaited the arrival of the artist, who made changes and adjustments. Â
