Hardstones (lapis lazuli, amethyst, Sicilian jasper, Sienese agate, chalcedony, and carnelian), marbles (verde antico, rosso antico, bianco e nero), and alabaster, set into black Belgian marble. Highlights include French Baroque inlaid furniture, 18th-century English porcelain, and of course the Legion's world-famous collection of Rodin sculpture, including an original cast of the Thinker, situated in the Court of Honor. |
