Chicago collectors Reva and David Logan have assembled over 20 years one of the most important collections of artists' books from the past century. Artists' books, also referred to as illustrated books or livres d'artistes, usually contain original prints. The accompanying text combines into a unified whole with the art that is created especially for the volume. The Logans, after extensive study and research, sought the finest available copies of the major books in this field. The result is a broadly historical collection of the finest order.
