The Art of Painting Music: Allegro (ma non troppo)

Wednesdays–Sundays, 1:00–5:00 p.m., plus Fridays 6-8:45 p.m.

Gyulai's work explores the connections between music and the expressive possibilities of paint on canvas. She listens and looks at music as a subject, object, inspiration and–like Diebenkorn–invokes the dynamic tension between the poles of abstraction and representation, creating substance from the most ephemeral phenomena.
